O mais esperado prêmio da acadêmia de filmes para premiação de filmes, atores, músicas, roteiros, series e outros ocorrerá nesse Domingo, 7 de Janeiro, e será transmitido ao vivo pelo canal NBC às 8PM para o lado oriental dos EUA. O prêmio chamado de Globo de Ouro (Golden Globe), ocorrerá no Beverly Hilton Hotel em Beverly Hills, e será apresentado por Seth Meyers.
Essa será a 75th edição do prêmio. As nomiações já foram realizadas, em Dezembro, e os ganhadores serão divulgados no Domingo. Os ganhadores são eleitos através de votos de 90 jornalistas espalhados ao redor do mundo associados ao Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
